Associate
Austin Cole is an Associate Attorney with experience in natural resources, administrative law and real property matters. He assists clients with a variety of complex oil and gas litigation and regulatory matters. Austin has experience assisting clients in regulatory and lease interpretation, federal oil and gas leasing and transfers, and resolving title issues.
Austin received his JD with honors from Colorado Law School, earning the Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources Law and Policy Certificate. As a student, he worked as a research assistant and clerked with the federal government in both counsel and enforcement offices. After graduating, he shifted to the private sector issuing title opinions and division orders for one of the largest title firms in the Rocky Mountain region, with projects spanning lands across four states. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and its Natural Resources & Energy Law Section, as well as the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources.
